Ride-sharing service in Osaka
Try ride-sharing service!
Ride-Hailing app is necessary to use ride-sharing service. Please download the desired app from the list below.
You can also use the app to hail a taxi as usual.
＜CAUTION>
Beware! Unlicensed Taxis are Illegal and Unsafe!
In Japan, it is prohibited to use ride-hailing apps to transport passengers for a fee in a private vehicle without permission!
As an exception, white license plates are permitted if they have the words “ride-share" displayed in a visible place
such as the windshield, or if they have the words “paid transportation vehicle" displayed on both sides of the body.
How to use
Download app
Download a taxi-hailing App. that supports ride-sharing (see list below) and create an account.
POINT：Make sure to set up a payment method!
Set boarding and destination points.
The boarding point will appear automatically. You can change it as necessary.
POINT：Make sure to set your destination point!
Checking of Fare.・Select payment method.
POINT：Make sure to select a cashless payment method!
Request a ride → Completed
After requesting a ride, wait for the car to arrive.

To ride-sharing service users
To minimize impact on the traffic of surrounding areas and to ensure safety, we made a survey to designate areas unsuitable for boarding and destination points near terminal stations and other crowded zones.
When requesting a ride with apps, please avoid selecting boarding and destination points in these designated areas.
（※）Boarding or alighting is not allowed in "No-stopping zones" defined by Road Traffic Act regardless of the survey results.
