Why not start your business in Osaka?

We spoke with experts from around the world about the future of business in Osaka, in light of the Expo Osaka, Kansai, Japan.

“Of course pharmaceuticals and we know Osaka has a very strong presence and we know that the pharmaceutical industry is going to be interested as well to be here because part of the sub themes of the Expo is about life and making better lives for people.”

What Makes Osaka Attractive as a Business Destination?

foreign company together, and to open the market for the world.”

  “We were also looking at Japan and it was very clear that Osaka is one of the very
active and dynamic regions, which is in the heart of the Kansai region.”

especially if you're a small business, because the advantage is, in order to find
people that are different in the prices, even inside Japan to get a good office,

that I would say Osaka is the only place.”

YANMAR HOLDINGS CO., LTD.

  For more than 100 years since its founding as an industrial machinery manufacturer
here in Osaka, YANMAR HOLDINGS CO., LTD., has aimed to realize a sustainable
society where people and nature coexist.

C4U Corporation

  C4U Corporation is a bioventure company originating from Osaka University.
They are conducting research and development based on the CRISPR/Cas3-based
genome editing method, which is more efficient and safer than conventional genome
editing.

EX Fusion Inc. 

  Ex-Fusion Inc., is a tech venture company originating from the Institute of Laser
Engineering, Osaka University.
They aim to provide a stable energy supply using the world's first laser fusion reactor,
which is the only one in Japan.

Sydecas Inc.

   Since the Edo period, Osaka flourished as the city of “Kuidaore"(over-eating on
gourment) and ofshaping Japan's food culture.
And in this region, as one of the core centers of science and technology in Japan, the
food tech venture company Sydecas Inc., is working to create delicious and healthy
eatinghabits using the traditional Japanese ingredient konnyaku also known as konjac.

CHINOUGIJUTSU Co., Ltd. 

  An essential part of Osaka's industrial history is the development of its
manufacturing industry.
In Osaka, a place where small and medium-sized enterprises are actively giving form
to business ideas with flexible ideas backed by superior technology, is
CHINOUGIJUTSU Co., Ltd., a development and technology consulting company that
uses unique methods to combine AI and robot technology to protect the safety of
society and improve people's lives.
