Kindergartens,Elementary and Junior High Schools

Kindergartens are established to help to lay the foundations for compulsory education and subsequent education, with the objective of providing daycare for children and furthering their mental and physical development in an appropriate environment for their healthy growth.

The Osaka Prefectural Board of Education is promoting the enhancement of the capacity of kindergartens, nurseries and centers for early childhood education and care, based on "early childhood education promotion guidelines", which shows the direction and measures to continue to promote early childhood education further, while obtaining the understanding and cooperation of the municipality.

Elementary and Junior High Schools

On April 1 in 2017, the first prefectural junior high school was established on the same site of the prefectural high school. The two schools together provide the students with unified lower-upper secondary education.
