The Bicycle Museum is the only museum in Japan devoted entirely to bicycles.
The second floor is lined with bicycles from around the world, from 200-year-old classic bicycles to the very latest models. The third floor houses an area explaining the construction of brakes and gears, and visitors can look, touch, and experience for themselves how bicycles work and how they have evolved. The storage area on the first floor is also currently open to visitors. About 250 machines are lined up, presenting a spectacular sight, and you might just come across one that brings back memories of your own.
In the Bicycle Plaza outside, visitors can try their hand at riding replicas of the classic bicycles exhibited in the museum.
